Acrobat in Paris
Not too long ago I had the pleasure of working on a commission in one of the most romantic cities in the world, Paris. Fortunately whilst there, I had some time to escape and explore the sights...
I was passing the Sacré-Cœur after some lunch in the Montmatre area of the city when I spotted Iya Traore (a Guinean footballer and freestyler who has been featured in Guinness World Records three times to date!) impressing spectators with some truly remarkable football skills - all whilst moving up, down and around this street lamp. I had just moments to capture some of his most striking movements before he descended back down the pole.
The Sacré-Cœur is one of the highest points in Paris, which affords some incredible views across the city below - and this made an incredible backdrop for some incredible high-flying freestyle soccer tricks!
