A small Green Garden Lizard (Calotes calotes) also known as a Green Forest Lizard or Common Garden Lizard, hiding amongst low foliage and undergrowth in Sinharaja Forest Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is well hidden among the vibrant green leaves and remains motionless.
Sri Lankan Jackal (Canis aureus naria) are endemic to Sri Lanka and have adapted well to human encroachment upon their natural habitat. This individual watched me cautiously through the undergrowth of Udawalawe National Park.
