Acrobats in Paris

An Acrobat in Paris

Recently I had the pleasure of working on a commission in one of the most romantic cities in the world, Paris.

Fortunately whilst there, I had some time to escape and explore the sights. During the day whilst the sun is high in the sky I'm usually scouting for locations that may allow me to capture beautiful sunrises and sunsets - but that doesn't mean my camera isn't close-at-hand!

I was passing the Sacré-Cœur after some lunch in the Montmatre area of the city when I spotted this street entertainer impressing spectators with some truly remarkable football skills - all whilst moving up, down and around this street lamp. I had just moments to capture some of his most striking movements before he descended back down the pole to collect his reward.

The Sacré-Cœur is one of the highest points in Paris, which affords some incredible views across the city below - and this made an incredible backdrop for some incredible high-flying acrobatics!
